  • By default, or design, there is another government in the neighboring but brotherly country, Niger. General Tchiani is now in charge and people have been explaining different opinions over the situation. Indeed, every Nigerian have some feelings about the change because of the unknown consequences in our lives.
  • History has shown our similarly in many respects (religion, trade, culture, etc) especially with NORTHERN Nigeria. In fact, the homogeneous elements are many.
  • Am not trying to shift your attention and you have every right not to accept my submission. But I can comfortably say that, the recent coup in Niger republic was just targeted to North of Nigeria, the nation and Africa in general. No one should ask for the receipt of this opinion (evidence) because with every respect, even those that couldn’t get the adored western education can analyse issues as they emerge. No one should take this generation for granted!.
  • The Niger’s coup d ‘etat requires no distant analysis, just figure out the gradual toppling of some African clustered governments recently, the inflicted insurgency in both Nigeria and Niger and of course, the banditry within the region.
  • For those who understand the development work, THESE (called strong countries like US, UK, France etc) have been with us in the names of providing AIDS, Intervention, support, good governance, service delivery, inclusion, gender, etc. They receive in return, complete reports of both financial and narrative spendings of what they provide. In addition, they receipt a FULL view of our society’s nooks and crannies from over 1000 miles away. They strategically use these reports developed and shared by us to understand our “strengths and weaknesses”, our plans both short and medium, and at times use this information to couch us how to developed our vision and mission as ministries, departments and agencies of all the tiers of our governments.
  • They tend to show love to us more than ourselves through various system strengthening like introduction of different types of service delivery programmes in Africa’s health, education, agriculture, environment sector and others. They made us to become mere consumers of their products including GUNS that we buy to kill ourselves.
  • All these tactics are being implemented by THEM in phases and they can be patient enough to implement any designed 200-year plan or more that they already put in place.
  • Nigeria is known with variety of skills, minerals tapped and untapped ones, human population, not just land but arable, different beliefs and culture, yet we remain one country!
  • This indivisibility remains a challenge for them and strongly believe that, they have to apply all possible means to touch Nigeria. To get rid of Africa, is only when Nigeria gets confused. Such confusion they believe, can be created through two major ways (from within or outside). For instance, they can use the civic space, internal security systems, minority groups, any aggrieved citizen, poverty-stricken groups, educationally backward communities, etc. They can use opposition political parties, the civil service, business communities, etc. They are never tired of conducting Political Economy Analysis (PEA) to guide their daily decisions and as means of verification to support their basis for lunching any plan they want to implement, they already have the data of our resources.
  • From the foregoing, Nigeria with the richness of its gifts of nature must definitely be envied by these so-called strong countries and what they intend to do is to get into our land through our closest and trusted neighbors that they have been providing interventions over years in the desperate areas of their demands such as food, security and shelter. Therefore, closest to Nigeria, is Niger.
  • Someone may say it is not a new thing in Niger to have military in place. YES. This is their 5th coup d etat. But, why now after democratic government is in place? If they complained of bad governance, we can all remember that former US President TRUMP is today in court (with all their experience in democracy, yet they couldn’t get it apt).
  • Of recent, we must be clever enough to understand some kind of systematic change from 2020 to date (just three years) in some African governments of Guinea, Burkina Faso, Chad and Mali, while the nascent one is Niger. WHY this clustered coups?
  • In attempt to answer this, the USA is extremely passionate in building nests in many places of especially in Nigeria and by extension West Africa and that’s why, it presently has more than 1,000 service personnel in the republic of Niger. Some military leaders who appear to be involved in the controversial coup have worked closely with the United States for years. General Moussa Salaou Barmou, the head of Niger’s special forces, has special and strong relationship with the U.S. by this, it won’t be a mistake to comfortably say that, the coup d etat has long been planned.
  • At the same time, France has 1,500 soldiers in the country who conduct joint operations with the Nigeriens, the United States and other European countries have helped train the nation’s troops. These can be defined as providing mentorship to their hidden plans which Niger might not be aware, only enjoying the little intervention that will last at the expense of its citizens and that of its tight friends and brothers like Nigeria.
  • The four Asian or little tigers made up of (South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong) are watching just as the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) are also standing by. On one hand, the G8 (the United States, the United Kingdom, France, West Germany, Italy, Japan and Canada) are hungrily waiting for opportunity to key-into Nigeria through Niger. Not isolating any of the super powers, the republic of Russia is equally deeply interested in the game.
  • They all have something in common, re-capturing Africa through Nigeria!
  • At this material time, Nigerian leaders especially key stakeholders in Northern Nigeria must do the needful to save the existing souls and next generation to come from becoming another set of slaves in our land. We can scientifically analyze what is happening on Syria, Afghanistan, the Lebanon, etc. In Africa, we can see the two Sudanese at war, in the middle east Iraq is never in peace, we can remember the Tahrir square event in Egypt, the Tunisian episode, etc. Back to Africa, they have for instance inflicted hate among the Mali’s, the Liberians, the cote d voireans and generally helped in instilling absolute corruption in the minds of many Africans. What we get at the end of what they usually termed as “CEASE FIRE” after every conflict is what they call relief materials (intervention) in many forms such as medical support to heal the injuries they helped to create, education that they destroyed, water that they cut, and even electricity which we are indirectly paying through the purchase of weapons, tax and exchange of minerals with weapons to save our souls.
  • Candid advise to the motherland Nigeria, North, Jigawa and my own SOWETO – Hadejia, is on the proposed ultimatum given to the military government of Niger by the ECOWAS led by our President Tinubu should be treated with caution. The “G’ guys must not be given the chance to penetrate into us. If they come in by any mistake, they will succeed in destroying Africa. They believe, Nigeria is the only hub that when broken, all other parts can easily be dealt with.
  • In honesty, we have had enough of the insurgency still around us in the Norh East which has over stayed beyond the Biafran war period while at the same time, the banditry is ongoing apart from the routine psychological warfare that has bedeviled the minds of people due to poverty and excessive pauperism. This is why am saying, we must speak beyond our noses, we need to show the world that we are not illiterates as being described by many and believed by those who want to believe. At whatever level we fall, we must contribute our quota.
  • The west assumed they are smart. If we allow this potential war to take place, they have broken the chain of LOVE, TRUST, COMPANIONSHIP, CULTURE, TRADITION and MATRIMONIALSHIP between Nigeria especially North West and the entire NIGER people. Then, a new page of hate, distrust and anarchy will be seeded, nurtured and weeded by one but the two countries. With this, they will now introduce the “REAL” world order politically, economically, religiously, socially, morally and from all other angles of life.
  • Never tired of saying, we must understand that, the North is the main target and both France and the US are extremely happy to have gotten bases from where they can operate, Niger. If not, why are they having troops in Niger spending money on them just for nothing? The act is clearly calculated when our leaders are busy politicizing issues at the detriment of their respective constituencies.
  • Our silent politicians, retired service men, academia, businessmen and all key stakeholders, this is your time. If you remain mute, the business may not continue, the politics may come to a standstill, you may not go the university to lecture and the monthly pension may be difficult to come while the oil bloc could be seized.
  • We should smell beyond the coup.

I come in peace!
