The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kano State Radio Corporation Chapel has congratulated Mallam Dayyab Umar Mai Mai Rano on his appointment as the Director of News and Current Affairs Department at Radio Kano.
In a statement signed by the Acting Chairman, Comrade Hussaini Kabir Minjibir, and the Secretary, Comrade Abdulsalam Na’iya Gwammaja, the union expressed their prayers for Mallam Rano.
The union called upon all department employees to provide full cooperation and support to the new director, emphasizing the importance of collective effort in enhancing the department’s services.
The NUJ also extended best wishes to the former director of the department, Alhaji Adamu Ibrahim Dabo Dawakin Tofa, in his new position at the Kano State Ministry of Solid and Mineral Resources, acknowledging his contributions.
