The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has lifted the visa ban imposed on Nigerians.
This development followed an agreement reached between the Nigerian government and the UAE to lift the ban.
Kano Times gathered that the agreement takes immediate effect, allowing Nigerian passport holders to travel to the UAE.
The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, made the announcement at the Presidential Villa, disclosing that an agreement has been reached between the governments of Nigeria and the UAE.
The UAE had imposed a visa restriction on Nigerian citizens in 2022.
The ban at the time resulted in Emirates Airlines suspending flight operations to Nigeria in November 2022.
