Saudi Arabia, Nigerian Islamic Institutions Explore Partnership Opportunities

Nigerian-born Saudi Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dr. Jameel Muhammad, recently paid a familiarization visit to Dr. MK Dikwa, President and Founder of Al-Ansar Foundation, at his Asokoro residence.

During the visit, Dr. Jameel and Dr. Dikwa discussed various areas of potential collaboration, including capacity building, Islamic scholarship, and research initiatives between Madina University and Al-Ansar University in Maiduguri.

Dr. Jameel, who holds significant influence in Saudi Arabia, emphasized the benefits of strengthening ties between the two institutions.

The discussions also covered a partnership aimed at advancing Al-Ansar Foundation’s vision of humanitarian services and support for Islam. Both leaders agreed that this collaboration would provide a platform for Sheikh Jameel to further his Islamic teachings and initiatives.

In addition, Dr. Dikwa invited Dr. Jameel to attend the maiden graduation and prize-giving ceremony for the first set of graduates from the Al-Ansar Centre for Comprehensive Education in Gwarimpa, Abuja, scheduled for July 27, 2024.
