Petition Against Ex-NPC Chief Lacks Merit, Says Danagundi

The Director General of the National Productivity Centre, Dr. Baffa Babba Danagundi, has dismissed a petition against his predecessor, Dr. Nasir Raji, the former Director General of the agency.

Recently, a group had petitioned the former Director General to the new DG, alleging misappropriation and abuse of office.

In a statement issued on Monday, Danagundi dismissed the petition for lacking merit, citing the petitioners’ failure to present themselves and their names.

“How can you consider a petition written under a pseudonym? What is the name of the group and the signatories of the petition?” he questioned.

Danagundi expressed his maximum respect for the former Director General, highlighting Raji’s decades of service in the public sector.

“The public, family, and friends should recognize this as an attempt by Raji’s enemies to tarnish his hard-earned integrity built over three decades of service,” he stated.

To clear any doubts, he invited anyone interested in the vehicles purchased by Raji to visit the headquarters and see for themselves that they are brand new and not yet in use.

He emphasized that individuals like Dr. Raji should not be sidelined and embarrassed by mischief makers, but rather included, as their wealth of experience is invaluable to the agency.

Danagundi thanked Dr. Raji for his service to the country and for his contributions to the development of the Centre.
