The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has congratulated Dr. Baffa Babba Danagundi on his appointment as the Director General of the National Productivity Centre by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Ganduje, who was excited by the appointment, thanked President Tinubu for considering party loyalists like Danagundi.
On his part, the Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, described the appointment as timely and well-deserved.
“Appointing Danagundi to key political positions will further strengthen the relevance of our great party, considering that he is a grassroots mobilizer of note,” said Barau Jibrin.
Danagundi visited the residence of the National Chairman to present his letter of appointment and to thank him for the support he has been rendering to the APC.
Ganduje further praised the newly appointed Director General for breaking the record of any political mobilization in Kano during the presidential campaign in 2023.
Abdullahi Abbas, who was also present during the presentation of the letter of appointment, described the appointment as timely, saying that the President has appointed his staunch and key loyalist.
“Tinubu has appointed a team player, a loyal party member, and a hard-working man who will, no doubt, by God’s mercy, take this agency to greater heights in the consolidation of the renewed hope agenda of President Tinubu.”
Present at the residence of the party chairman were the Kano Deputy Gubernatorial Candidate of the party in 2023, Murtala Sule Garo, and other party chieftains.
