Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf congratulated the Emir of Kano, HRH Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II, on his 63rd birthday.
The governor’s message, posted on his verified Facebook page, highlighted the Emir’s contributions to the community.
Governor Yusuf remarked, “I extend my felicitations to the Emir of Kano, HRH Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II, on his 63rd birthday.”
Acknowledging the Emir’s religious and cultural influence, the governor noted his leadership within the Tijjaniyya Sufi order.
“As the leader of the Tijjaniyya Sufi order in the country, I acknowledge the Emir’s contributions in uniting the disciples of the sect and the Muslim Ummah in Kano and beyond,” he stated.
Governor Yusuf also recognized the Emir’s efforts in advocating for cultural reforms across Northern Nigeria and its neighboring regions.
“I salute His Highness’ advocacy for cultural reforms in Northern Nigeria and neighboring countries,” he said.
The governor expressed his optimism for the future, highlighting the Emir’s potential to further contribute to the development of Kano and the nation.
“I’m hopeful that the Emir would continue to use his expertise and acumen to contribute to the development of Kano and the nation at large,” Governor Yusuf concluded.
