Barrister Hadiza Yusuf Adado, a former National Women Leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has passed away at the age of 58.
A family source confirmed to Kano Times in a phone interview that Barrister Adado died yesterday at her residence in Fagge, Kano, after a brief illness.
“Barrister Hadiza has sadly passed away. She died yesterday, Wednesday, at her home in Fagge Local Government after a brief illness,” the family confirmed.
Barrister Adado served as the National Women Leader of the PDP and was a Special Adviser to former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
Later in her career, she became the Director General of the PDP Women’s Campaign Council for Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 presidential bid.
Her funeral prayer, according to Islamic rites, was conducted at her family residence in Wapa, Fagge Local Government.
