Alhassan Muhammad Dattijo, former Chairman of Rano Local Government, has officially announced his bid for the chairmanship position in the upcoming Kano State local government elections.
The announcement took place today at the All Progressives Congress (APC) office in Rano, where party members and supporters warmly welcomed him.
Dattijo emphasized his commitment to serving the people of Rano, citing his past achievements in youth employment, provision of clean water, and women’s empowerment.
“I am ready to once again dedicate myself to the development of Rano Local Government Area. With the experience I have gathered over the years, I believe we can achieve even more,” Dattijo declared.
The APC Chairman in Rano Local Government, Malam Musa Garba, endorsed Dattijo’s candidacy, praising his political background and leadership qualities.
“His political background and experience make him an outstanding candidate. During his tenure as Chairman, he provided job opportunities to our youth, ensured the provision of potable water, and empowered women across the local government. These are the qualities we need in our leadership,” Garba commented.
Malam Garba also encouraged the people of Rano to rally behind the APC in the upcoming elections, noting the party’s proven commitment to progress.
“We must unite and ensure that we vote for the APC, which has already demonstrated its dedication to the development of Kano State under Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and specifically to Rano Local Government,” he added.
