The 15th Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, expressed sympathy for the traders affected by the recent fire at the Kantin-Kwari textile market in Kano.
The fire, which broke out on Saturday night, caused the destruction of goods and properties worth millions of naira.
Emir Aminu Ado Bayero visited the scene, accompanied by his entourage.
During his visit, the Emir offered prayers for the affected traders, seeking divine intervention to help them recover from the losses. He also called for support and unity in helping the victims rebuild their businesses.
The Emir acknowledged the efforts of the Kano State Fire Service, security personnel, and the Traders’ Association for their action in containing the fire.
He emphasized the need for improved safety measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
