Emir of Rano Pays Condolence Visit to Zazzau Emir Over Dan Isan’s Death

The Emir of Rano, Alhaji Muhammad Isah Umaru (Autan Bawo), has extended his condolences to the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, following the death of Dan Isan Zazzau, Alhaji Umar Shehu Idris.

During his visit to the Emir’s palace in Zaria on Sunday, Emir Umaru expressed sorrow, stating, “The death of Dan Isan Zazzau is a great loss not only to the Zazzau Emirate but to the entire Northern traditional institution. May Allah grant him eternal rest and give his family and the Zazzau Emirate Council the strength to bear this loss.”

He offered prayers for the deceased and sympathized with the Emirate Council and the family, expressing hope that their grief would be eased.

In response, the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, thanked Emir Umaru for his visit. He acknowledged the grief felt by the emirate, adding, “Though we are deeply saddened, we find solace in knowing this is the will of Almighty Allah. We pray for strength during this time.”

Kano Times reported that Alhaji Umar Shehu Idris, Assistant Secretary to the Zazzau Emirate Council, and two others died in a road accident along Abuja-Kaduna Expressway on Tuesday. He is survived by two wives and two children.
