The All Progressives Congress (APC) group under Patriot Volunteers has urged President Bola Ahmad Tinubu to appoint Ibrahim Ɗan Azumi Gwarzo as the Kano State Party Chairman, citing his political experience from previous administrations.
This request was made known during a press conference endorsing Ibrahim Ɗan Azumi Gwarzo today at the NUJ Press Center in Kano, led by Sale Adamu Kwaru.
Gwarzo has held various roles in the APC, contributing to party activities at the national and grassroots levels.
“As volunteers from the APC, following consultation with party members, we endorse Hon. Ibrahim Ɗan Azumi Gwarzo for the position of APC Kano State Party Chairman,” Kwaru stated.
Gwarzo’s background includes serving as a four-time commissioner, a former Kano CPC official, and Director of the Federal Institute of Industrial Research (FIIRO). He has also chaired the Kano State Land Use Allocation Committee (KNSLUAC) for two terms.
The APC Patriot Volunteers state that Kano State needs Gwarzo based on his leadership experience and skills.
