Nigeria’s President Tinubu Set to Address Israel-Palestine Conflict

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja on Sunday for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to attend the Joint Arab-Islamic Summit, starting on Monday, November 11, 2024.

The summit will bring together leaders from the Arab and Islamic world to discuss regional issues, including the ongoing Israel-Palestinian conflict.

President Tinubu is expected to speak on Nigeria’s position on the conflict, calling for an immediate ceasefire and a peaceful resolution.

Nigeria’s stance will emphasize the need for the two-state solution, seen as a critical approach for achieving peace and stability in the region.

He will be accompanied by key officials, including Foreign Affairs Minister Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Information and National Orientation Minister Alhaji Mohammed Idris, and National Intelligence Agency Director General Amb. Mohammed Mohammed.
