Hisham Habib, former Kano State Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has dumped the red cap and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Habib, who is a former Managing Director of Kano State Radio Corporation, confirmed his decision today, Thursday, November 14, 2024, as he received his APC membership card in Chiranchi Ward, Kumbotso Local Government Area.
Speaking on his decision, Habib said, “This evening of Nov 14, 2024, I received the membership card of the All Progressives Congress from my ward, Chiranchi, Kumbotso Local Government. May Allah guide and protect us in all future endeavors.”
Stakeholders from Kumbotso’s APC acknowledged Habib’s return to the party.
Auwal Dan Kano, from the APC’s youth wing in Kano, remarked, “Hisham Habib’s experience in Kano is known to many. His return to APC shows his dedication to the people.”
Dan Kano added, “Kumbotso needs strong voices and experienced individuals, and Hisham Habib brings that. We anticipate the impact his role will have within our party.”
