Kano State Commissioner for Public Procurement, Project Monitoring, and Evaluation, Ibrahim Ali Namadi Dala, has received the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) Appreciation Award.
The award, presented by the NSE Kano State Branch, recognizes his contributions to the engineering sector.
In a statement signed by Sagiru Ado Abubakar, Information Officer of the Ministry, the commissioner was acknowledged for his contributions since his appointment.
Presenting the award, the NSE highlighted its tradition of celebrating individuals and institutions contributing to the field of engineering. “Through this award, we honor excellence and the positive impact made on various engineering sectors,” a representative of the association remarked.
While receiving the accolade, Namadi expressed his gratitude to the NSE for the recognition. “This award is a testament to our dedication. I assure you that my ministry will continue to collaborate with the Nigerian Society of Engineers and operate within its guidelines,” he said.
In October, Namadi facilitated the casual appointment of graduates in Building, Civil, Quantity Surveying, and Mechanical Engineering to support the ministry’s workforce.
