Rano Emirate Mourns the Passing of Chief Guard Suleiman Saraki

Suleiman Saraki Rano, the Sarkin Dogarai of Rano Emirate, has passed away at the age of 50 after a prolonged illness.

The late chief guard of the Emir of Rano’s palace died on Sunday at Muhammad Abdullahi Wase General Hospital in Nasarawa Local Government Area of the state.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, and numerous other relatives. A funeral prayer was held in Rano in accordance with Islamic rites, attended by family, friends, and residents of the community who came to pay their last respects.

Members of the Rano Emirate palace expressed deep sorrow, describing the death of Sarkin Dogarai Suleiman Saraki as a monumental loss to both the Emirate and humanity.

Usain Sabo, an associate of the late Sarkin Dogarai, described him as a man of integrity and commitment. “He was a man of great integrity, and his commitment to the Emir’s palace and the people of Rano was unquestionable. His absence will be felt by all who knew him.”

He added, “His passing comes at a time when his principal, the Emir, is in need of his invaluable support in coordinating the palace guards and executing key responsibilities in service to the Emirate.”
