Rep. Adegboyega Adefarati, Chairman of the House Committee on Labour, Employment, and Productivity, has commended Dr. Baffa Babba Danagundi, Director-General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC), following the successful budget defence.
The commendation came shortly after the budget defence when Dr. Danagundi paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman to discuss ways to actualize the mandate of the NPC.
“Your defence was excellent; I’m impressed with your vision of taking NPC to greater heights. We are ready to give you all the maximum support towards actualizing the vision of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Rep. Adefarati remarked.
Kano Times reports that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu appointed Kano-born politician Baffa Babba Danagundi as the Director-General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC).
Baffa’s appointment was confirmed through a statement signed by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Media and Publicity.
According to the statement, President Tinubu expects the new NPC Director-General to display utmost dedication and patriotic zeal in driving the Centre’s mandate of developing a national culture of excellence in operational efficiency and institutionalizing a performance-driven orientation towards measurable productivity.
