A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, Nasiru Bala Aminu Ja’o’ji, paid a courtesy visit to Vice President Kashim Shettima at his residence in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The visit, which focused on the development of the APC in Kano and the northern region, was marked by discussions on strategies to strengthen the party’s grassroots mobilization and empowerment initiatives.
Vice President Shettima commended Ja’o’ji for his contributions to the party, particularly his series of empowerment programs in Kano State in 2024.
Shettima described Ja’o’ji as a shining example of youthful leadership within the APC, highlighting his efforts to mobilize youth and women to ensure the party’s success.
“The party at both state and federal levels is proud of young leaders like Ja’o’ji who are making impactful moves to secure our party’s future through grassroots engagement,” Shettima stated.
In his remarks, Ja’o’ji expressed gratitude to the Vice President for the warm reception and reiterated his commitment to the APC’s principles, particularly in the area of human capital development.
He pledged to launch additional youth and women empowerment programs in 2025, emphasizing their critical role in the party’s growth and national development.
In December 2024, Ja’o’ji empowered thousands of youth and women in Kano State with N500 million, providing financial support to enhance their livelihoods. Earlier in the year, he distributed cars and motorcycles to APC members across the state’s 44 local government areas to facilitate their economic and social activities.
Ja’o’ji’s efforts have been widely lauded as a model for grassroots mobilization and party development, cementing his reputation as a key player in Kano’s political landscape.
