NPC DG Praises Namadi’s Free Education, Describes Him as Nigeria’s Best Governor

The Director General of the National Productivity Centre, Dr. Baffa Babba Danagundi, has highlighted the contributions of Jigawa State Governor Mallam Umar Namadi, describing him as the “most productive governor in Nigeria.”

In a statement signed by Dr. Danagundi, he noted Governor Namadi’s investments in education and agriculture, which have positively impacted the lives of Jigawa State residents.

“His policies are testimonial in boosting productivity among the citizens of Jigawa State. The recent introduction of free education, especially for the girl child, and the sponsorship of thousands of students to study medical and related courses abroad are remarkable efforts to enhance productivity,” Danagundi stated.

On agriculture, he mentioned the governor’s provision of 240,000 bags (12,000 metric tons) of fertilizer at a 40% subsidy to farmers.

“This intervention has made critical inputs more affordable for farmers, ensuring increased productivity and a stable agricultural sector. This is not only commendable but worthy of emulation by other governors in the country,” Danagundi added.

Dr. Danagundi urged other state leaders to consider Governor Namadi’s policies as a model for sustainable development and productivity.
