Nigeria’s oil mogul, Alhaji Auwalu Abdullahi Rano, popularly known as A.A. Rano, has donated ₦150 million to Bayero University, Kano (BUK).
The announcement was made during an event where Auwalu Rano, on behalf of his family and the A.A. Rano Group of Companies, expressed his support for the university’s development.
Kano Times reports that Bayero University, Kano (BUK), honored Alhaji Auwalu Abdullahi Rano with an honorary doctorate degree at its 39th Convocation Ceremony.
