Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, has called for unity and collaboration among Kano State stakeholders, urging former Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, and former Commissioner of Transport, Muhammad Gambo Diggol, to work together for the state’s development.
Senator Barau made the call during a meeting with the two former officials at his residence in Abuja.
The meeting, which was attended by other stakeholders, centered on issues affecting Kano State and Nigeria at large.
Describing the engagement as productive, Senator Barau stated”Today, I had a fruitful meeting with the former Secretary to the Kano State Government, Dr. Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, the former Commissioner for Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Muhammad Diggol, and other stakeholders of our dear state at my residence in Abuja.”
He emphasized the need for unity and a collective approach to governance, reaffirming his commitment to Kano’s progress.
“We had fruitful discussions with them on the development of our dear state and the country. The development of our state and the country is always at the top of our agenda.”
The Deputy Senate President further stressed the importance of collaboration, calling on all political actors to work together for the benefit of the people.
“We will continue to collaborate with other stakeholders to advance our state and nation. Let’s do it together to better the lots of our people.”
