The Executive Secretary of the National Assembly Library Trust Fund (NALTF), Hon. Henry Nwawuba, has received an Excellence Award in Human Capital Development.
The award was presented by the Centre for Credible Leadership and Citizens Awareness (CCLCA), in collaboration with Naijablitznews and Hellosismedia, at a ceremony held in Abuja on Monday evening.
Hon. Nwawuba, a two-term member of the House of Representatives, expressed surprise and gratitude upon receiving the award. In a brief acceptance speech, he reaffirmed his commitment to modernizing the National Assembly Library.
“We are working to ensure the library becomes fully digitized to meet global standards,” he said. “From a visual history of the Nigerian legislature to up-to-date and well-archived information, our resources are being transformed.”
He also highlighted the facility’s modern infrastructure, stating: “We have state-of-the-art conference halls suitable for both local and international engagements.”
Hon. Nwawuba commended CCLCA, Naijablitznews, and Hellosismedia for recognizing and spotlighting the achievements of the Trust Fund.
