Bushira Abubakar Adam has expressed appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Kumbotso Local Government, Comrade Abdullahi Ghali Shitu, known as Basaf, after her appointment as the Senior Special Assistant on Women Organizations.
In a statement made public shortly after the announcement, Bushira described her new role as a call to duty and promised to serve with sincerity and commitment under the Basaf Gida-Gida Kwankwasiyya Administration.
“I write with a heart full of gratitude to sincerely appreciate our dynamic and visionary Executive Chairman, Comrade Abdullahi Ghali Shitu (Basaf), for finding me worthy of the appointment as Senior Special Assistant on Women Organizations,” she said.
She commended the Chairman’s approach to leadership, highlighting his emphasis on grassroots development and inclusion of women in governance processes.
“This trust you have placed in me is not just an honour but a call to duty. I deeply appreciate the opportunity to serve under your leadership, which continues to prioritize inclusion, grassroots empowerment, and the active participation of women in governance,” she added.
Bushira also pledged to uphold the values of the administration and collaborate with other appointees to advance development in the area.
“I pledge to carry out this responsibility with dedication, sincerity, and in full alignment with the values and goals of the Basaf Gida-Gida Kwankwasiyya Administration. I am confident that, together with other appointees, we will work towards building a stronger, more united, and progressive Kumbotso.”
She concluded her message with a prayer for the Chairman’s continued strength and guidance: “May Allah guide and strengthen you as you continue to lead with wisdom and compassion.”
