As part of its 15th anniversary reunion, the Hassan Ibrahim Gwarzo Old Students Association (HIGOSA) Class of 2010 will hold a free medical outreach on Friday, August 8, 2025.
The outreach, themed “Unity is Our Strength,” will take place at the premises of Hassan Ibrahim Gwarzo Schools in Kano, starting at 9:00 a.m.
Organisers said the event will include free medical consultations, blood sugar testing, malaria and hepatitis screening, and blood group tests.
“This outreach is not just about medical tests. It’s a chance to reconnect, learn, and make health a priority,” a member of the planning committee said.
The outreach is open to the public. Organisers are calling on residents to attend with friends and family.
The medical outreach is part of a series of activities lined up to mark the group’s 15 years since graduation.
