Federal lawmaker Kabiru Alhassan Rurum on Tuesday visited former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, in London.
Rurum, who represents Rano, Kibiya, and Bunkure Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, was accompanied by former Kano State governorship candidate Sha’aban Ibrahim Sharada.
The visit comes amid political realignments within the Kano APC, where party stakeholders recently declared support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027 and reaffirmed Ganduje as the party leader in the state.
Kabiru Alhassan Rurum previously served as Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly during Ganduje’s tenure as governor.
