More than 150 people have fled their homes following attacks by bandits on villages in Rabah Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
The incident, which occurred on Tuesday night, affected Madawa, Cirib Dikko, Cirib Sabon Gari, Qaurare, Tafara and Tukuyum villages in Rara ward.
A security analyst, Bakatsine, disclosed the development in a post on X on Wednesday, saying the victims were in urgent need of government support.
“Bandit attack in Rara ward villages, Rabah LGA, Sokoto State, last night, forced at least 150 people to flee.
“Villages hit include Madawa, Cirib Dikko, Cirib Sabon Gari, Qaurare, Tafara and Tukuyum. Survivors urgently need government aid,” Bakatsine wrote.
