Buhari’s Legacy Of Dedication Won’t Fade — Tinubu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday paid a condolence visit to the family of late former President Muhammadu Buhari in Kaduna, assuring them that Buhari’s legacy of patriotism and service would endure.

Tinubu, who disclosed this in a post on his verified Facebook page, said he described Buhari as a “brother, friend, and leader,” whose contributions to the nation would not be forgotten.

“I assured them that his legacy of dedication, patriotism, and service would be preserved and carried forward,” the president said.

The visit marked Tinubu’s second trip to Kaduna in two months. While in the city, he also attended the wedding of Nasirudeen, son of former Zamfara State governor, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, and Safiyya Shehu Idris at Sultan Bello Mosque.

The president prayed for the couple, urging them to build their marriage on faith, love, and respect.

Tinubu further described Kaduna as central to Nigeria’s history, noting that his engagements in the city underscored the values of faith, resilience, and unity that bind Nigerians together.

“Kaduna will always hold a special place in our nation’s story. In sharing grief and celebrating joy today, I was reminded once again of the values that bind us together as Nigerians,” he added.
