Former Kano State Governor, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, has denied reports circulating online that he submitted a letter of intent to rejoin the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Kwankwaso, who made the clarification on his official Facebook page, said the claim was false and misleading.
“We have been alerted to some online statements suggesting that we have submitted a letter of intent to join a political party in the country,” he wrote.
The NNPP leader stressed that he had not communicated any such intention to the APC or any other party.
“We would like to clarify that we have not made any such submission to any party,” Kwankwaso said.
He therefore advised members of the public to disregard the speculation and rely only on his official communication channels for accurate updates.
“The public is therefore advised to stay informed of any further information regarding our matter through the established official channels,” he added.
Kwankwaso’s statement comes amid speculation that he had reached out to the APC National Chairman, sparking debates over his political future.
