A.U.G Foundation launches food relief drive in Tsafe

The A.U.G Foundation, led by Malam Abdulhafiz Umar Barau (Dan Isan Gusau, Magayakin Tsafe), has launched a food relief distribution drive in Tsafe, Zamfara State, as part of efforts to ease the economic strain on vulnerable families across the state.

The initiative, titled “Allah Ne Gatan Talaka” (Allah is the Protector of the Poor), was unveiled at the palace of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Tsafe, Alhaji Muhammad Bawa.

During the exercise, 150 household heads received food packages meant to cushion the effects of hardship in the area, the Foundation said.

The Tsafe Local Government Area has benefited from several A.U.G Foundation interventions, including the reconstruction of a collapsed house wall for a woman in need, assistance to a man facing housing difficulties, and medical and food support for a sick woman.

The Foundation said the food aid initiative is part of a broader humanitarian plan that will be expanded to all 14 local government areas of Zamfara State.

Abdulhafiz Umar Barau, who holds traditional titles in Gusau and Tsafe, said the effort reflects the Foundation’s mission to ensure “no community is left behind” in its social support programs.
