The former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Chairman, Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, will host the 2025 National Aviation Conference in Lagos, according to a statement on Monday.
The statement, signed by Ganduje’s Visual Communication Aide, Aminu Dahiru, said the conference is scheduled for Nov. 17 and 18 at the Eko Conference Centre, Lagos.
It said the theme of this year’s event is “Elevating the Nigerian Aviation Industry Through Investment Partnership and Global Engagements.”
“The immediate past APC national chairman, who also chairs the FAAN Board, will host this year’s National Aviation Conference in Lagos,” the statement said.
According to the aide, Ganduje had earlier inspected facilities at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, ahead of the conference.
“Dr Ganduje inspected the Murtala Muhammed International Airport and subsequently held a strategic meeting with the FAAN Managing Director, Mrs Olubunmi Oluwaseun Kuku, and the management team,” Dahiru said.
The statement said the meeting reviewed key challenges affecting airport operations and explored measures to enhance service delivery across the country’s airports.
