Alhaji Ali Dahiru Zungeru, the Sarkin Hausawa of Ibadanland, has died.
Zungeru, who was the leader of the Hausa community in Ibadan, reportedly died on Monday evening.
A source within the Hausa community in the Sabo area of Ibadan confirmed the development to Kano Times.
The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the deceased would be buried on Tuesday in accordance with Islamic rites.
