The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, says President Bola Tinubu has performed remarkably well in delivering his campaign promises within two years in office.
Idris stated this when he led officials of the ministry on a courtesy visit to the Governor of Ebonyi State, Mr Francis Nwifuru, in Abakaliki on Friday.
He said the achievements of the administration cut across critical sectors such as infrastructure, healthcare, education, security, agriculture, economy, regional development, livestock, humanitarian services and women affairs.
“Recall that all these achievements of Mr President have happened only in the last two years,” he said.
According to him, what has been achieved so far is only a glimpse of what Nigerians should expect before the end of Tinubu’s tenure in 2027.
“We still have another two years in the first instance of the mandate given to Mr President.
“And we know that if what we are seeing is anything to go by, by God’s grace, Tinubu will be here again after his first term for the circumvention to continue the good work that he has been doing.”
Idris added that the visit afforded them an opportunity to feel the pulse of the people of Ebonyi State on the impact of the Federal Government’s programmes.
“I know, and I can see, and I have heard from the people that we have interacted with, that the people of Ebonyi are indeed happy with President Bola Tinubu,” he said.
