A Kano-based writer, Hauwa Shehu, has published a new book titled Tsanin Tsaro, written in the Hausa language to equip the local populace with knowledge of digital security and ways to avoid online hackers and scammers.
Speaking with Kano Times, Shehu said the book “is not just a book; it is a stepping stone that everyone should take before entering the world of the internet. It is designed to help readers avoid the threats of cyberspace, which have become a common danger in today’s world.”
Shehu explained that Tsanin Tsaro is aimed not only at those with an interest in cybersecurity but also at anyone using the internet for business, education, or entertainment.
The book provides practical guidance on how hackers exploit vulnerabilities and offers strategies to protect personal data, businesses, and reputations.
According to the author, the book is written in simple language to ensure it is accessible and understandable to a broad audience, helping readers navigate online risks safely.
