Labour Minister Welcomes Dr. Danagundi as New DG NPC

The newly appointed Director General of the National Productivity Centre, Dr. Baffa Babba Danagundi, met with the Minister of Labour, Barrister Nkireuka Chidubem, in her office for a personal introduction following his recent appointment.

The two agreed to meet again after Danagundi’s official assumption of office.

President Tinubu appointed Danagundi as the Director General of the Centre last week. Danagundi, a former Majority Leader of the Kano State House of Assembly, also served as the Director General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council Directorate of Support Groups in the Northwest.

His appointment sparked jubilation among party members in Kano and other northwestern states.

The Minister thanked Danagundi for the visit and assured him of her full cooperation in achieving the President’s renewed hope agenda.

The state chairman of the APC in Kano, Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas, also expressed gratitude to the President for the appointment. He assured that the new appointee is a result-oriented individual.

“Danagundi worked vigorously for the President’s victory at the polls. He is a very hardworking, committed, and loyal party member,” Abbas said.

“This is an appointment well deserved, appointing the right person and a loyal party member is a thing of joy. He will make us proud and the President in this assignment. On behalf of all members of the party in Kano, we say a big thank you.”
