Axis Kano Hosts Inaugural Young Leaders Summit to Empower Future Leaders

A non-governmental organization, Axis Kano, with support from partners, organized the Young Leaders Summit 2024 in Kano State, themed “Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders: Unlocking Potential, Inspiring Action,” held yesterday at Khalifa Isyaka Rabiu University (KHAIRUN).

Auwal Adam Sansan, the convener of Skill Axis Kano and the founder of the Young Leaders Summit, Kano 2024, disclosed to newsmen that the summit aims to unlock young minds, help them reach their potential, and inspire action.

According to Auwal, youths need to build their capacity, establish networks with like-minded peers, increase their educational and professional qualifications, and lastly, have a mentor to guide them through success.

While similar summits in other regions in the nation require a fee of N200,000 to attend, he hosted the event free of charge in Kano, he disclosed.

Auwal hinted that this is the first summit in Kano, with more to come. He assured that the summit would also be hosted in Jigawa, Katsina, FCT-Abuja, and the entire northern region.

He called on young participants to put their knowledge into practice and utilize their action plans to achieve a better Nigeria.
