Ex-APC Vice Chairman Slams Tinubu’s Policies, Cites Worsening National Hardships

Dr. Salihu Lukman, a former National Vice Chairman for the North-West of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has criticized President Bola Tinubu for implementing unaligned policies that he claims have worsened living conditions across Nigeria.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Lukman questioned the effectiveness of Tinubu’s plans to address the country’s challenges.

He argued that the government’s initiatives lack coherence and capacity, resulting in a failure to manage the nation’s difficulties effectively.

Lukman highlighted that for over a year, the government has provided explanations without presenting a clear blueprint or timeline to reverse the economic decline.

He stated, “Every day, the hopelessness of the government becomes more evident.”

He further criticized the government’s approach, saying, “Having pushed the nation into a hopeless trajectory and worsened the living conditions of all Nigerians, what plan has President Tinubu put in place to fix the problems? The government’s inability to manage initiatives has compounded allegations of embezzlement surrounding efforts to alleviate the worsening conditions of citizens.”
