Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, issued a warning on Sunday, alerting Nigerian security forces about a planned wave of kidnappings targeting Emirs and attacks on palaces across the country, set to occur between December 2024 and February 2025.
In a statement released by his Media Aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Ayodele disclosed that the Nigerian military would target and eliminate leaders of Boko Haram, the Eastern Security Network (ESN), and the Islamic State’s West Africa Province (ISWAP).
He also forecasted an increase in attacks on farmers during this period.
Ayodele stated: “There will be attacks against Emirs, farmers, and palaces across the country. They are planning to kidnap Emirs and farmers between December and February next year.”
However, he expressed confidence in the ability of the Nigerian military to defeat the bandits, adding, “The Nigerian army will do so well in combating these bandits. I see some Boko Haram, ESN, ISWAP leaders being taken out by the military. Some of them will be arrested within this period too.”
