Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff, Borno’s former governor and Vice President Kashim Shettima’s benefactor was at the Presidential Villa to visit his successor.
After Sheriff, VP Shettima went on to also serve two terms in office, but their political association became threatened by intrigues of politics and politicians.
The VP shared photos of the visit on X, in which he remarked thus:
“I am honoured to host my former principal and predecessor as the Governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff. I am not only grateful for the wisdom shared during our meeting, but also bolstered to remain steadfast in my commitment to carrying forward the vision of serving the people and working for the betterment of our nation.”
