In a gesture of goodwill towards the community, Dr. Auwalu Rabiu Ali Rano, coordinator of the Kwankwasiyya Scholars Assembly’s Rano local government chapter, donated 2,500 outpatient cards to Autan Bawo Primary Health Centre over the weekend.
Dr. Rabi’u Ali Rano, who is a lecturer at Al-Qalam University Katsina (AUK), said the donation is expected to significantly ease access to medical care for residents who rely on the health centre’s services.
The university lecturer also explained that with these cards, many residents will be able to access essential medical care without worrying about the cost.
“The outpatient cards will hopefully reduce financial barriers to healthcare and encourage residents to seek medical attention when needed.”
“This will hopefully lead to better health outcomes for everyone in Rano local government,” he stressed.
In his remarks, the health personnel of Kano state Primary Health care, Sani Yakubu Umar, commended the effort of Dr. Auwal and urged wealthy individuals to emulate this gesture.
Malam Yakubu Umar added that Dr. Rano’s act of charity highlights the Kwankwasiyya Scholars Assembly’s commitment to social responsibility and improving the well-being of the Rano community.
“We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Rano for this generous donation. These outpatient cards will make a real difference in the lives of many people in our community.”
He further explained that Dr. Rano’s donation sets a great example for others.
“We encourage wealthy individuals to consider similar contributions to improve healthcare access in our community.”
