BUK TV Expands Reach with New Satellite Parameters

Bayero University Television (BUK TV) has announced its enhanced broadcast capabilities, now accessible via two satellite parameters.

According to BUK TV’s announcement, “The station can currently be found on Nicomsat satellite parameter 42.5° East, Channel 12725, with a symbol rate of 1500 on vertical polarization. Additionally, viewers can tune in via satellite Badr 7, positioned at an angle of 26°E, with a frequency of 11010, vertical polarization, and a symbol rate of 27500.”

In 2022, the President of the MacArthur Foundation, John Palfrey, commissioned a multi-million dollar TV station at the Faculty of Communication of Bayero University, Kano (BUK).
