The Deputy National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) North, Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori, has extended his felicitations to Muslims on the occasion of Eid-ul Maulud, urging them to emulate the virtues of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Dalori highlighted the significance of 12 Rabi’ul Awwal in the Islamic calendar, as it commemorates the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), whom he described as an epitome of leadership, wisdom, and kindness.
“This occasion is an important date on the Islamic calendar. I therefore urge Muslim faithful to emulate the noble teachings of the Prophet of Islam,” Dalori said. “Let us reflect and pray for peace and economic well-being for our dear country.”
In addition, Dalori expressed sympathy for the victims of recent floods in Maiduguri, calling the disaster devastating.
“The occasion of Maulud is vital as it gives us a unique chance to reflect on our faith. Let us use this opportunity to pray for our brothers and sisters in Maiduguri who were affected by the floods,” he added.
