Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has dissolved all 44 local government Interim Management Officers.
The announcement came today, Wednesday, marking the end of their six-month tenure overseeing local government affairs across the state.
The dissolution was confirmed by Kano Times, which reported that the Interim Management Officers were directed to hand over the affairs to the Director of Personnel Management (DPM) in their respective local governments.
