Rep. Aliyu Sani Madaki, representing Dala Local Government at the National Assembly on the platform of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), has made remarks regarding his colleague Abdulmumini Jibrin Kofa, who represents the Bebeji and Kiru Federal Constituency.
The comments were posted on Madaki’s Facebook page and confirmed by Kano Times.
“People of Kano State and Nigeria, today I will tell you who Abdulmumini Jibrin is and who Aliyu Sani Madaki is. Since he is a shameless person, today I will reveal what we discussed and what he said about Kwankwaso,” Madaki stated, igniting tensions within the local political landscape.
Both politicians are considered pillars of the Kwankwasiyya movement in Kano State, a political ideology established by former governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.
However, their recent exchange has highlighted conflicts, coming just weeks after another public feud involving Rep. Alhassan Ado Doguwa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Jibrin Kofa.
Madaki’s remarks have raised eyebrows and fueled speculation about the stability of alliances within the Kwankwasiyya movement, as political rivalries appear to intensify ahead of the upcoming elections. Observers note that such disagreements could have implications for party unity and voter sentiment in Kano State.
