Tinubu fills vacancies in Federal Civil Service

Agency Report

Nigerian President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries to fill existing vacancies in the Federal Civil Service, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF), Didi Walson-Jack, said on Monday.

In a statement issued by Eno Olotu, the Director of Information and Public Relations, Walson-Jack named the new appointees as Ibrahim Ozi for the Federal Capital Territory, Ezemama Chidiebere for Imo State, Garba Usman representing the North Central zone, and Mohammed Ishiyaku for the North East zone.

Walson-Jack said the appointments followed a “rigorous and transparent selection process,” consistent with Tinubu’s commitment to meritocracy and excellence in the public sector.

She urged the new officials to apply their experience and expertise to improve service delivery and support the administration’s development goals.

Walson-Jack commended Tinubu’s focus on transparency and professionalism, saying the move reflects his determination to build a results-driven and accountable civil service that meets the needs of  Nigerians.
