Former Governor of Kano State and 2023 NNPP presidential candidate, Sen. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, on Friday met with the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
The meeting, which also had the former Chairman of Kano Municipal, Alhaji Faizu Alfindiki, in attendance, came as a surprise to political observers in the state, given Abbas’ longstanding criticism of Kwankwaso despite having served as Commissioner for Environment during the former governor’s administration.
The encounter comes just days after Kwankwaso held a closed-door meeting with his political associate and former APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, at the residence of former Bauchi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Mu’azu.
