A prominent Islamic scholar in Nigeria, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, passed away on Tuesday night at the age of 98, a reliable source confirmed to RFI Hausa.
The source said Sheikh Bauchi is survived by wives and more than 80 children. The date for his funeral will be announced in due course.
