APC Unveils New Convention Committee Line-Up

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reshuffled its Central Coordination Committee for the 2026 National Convention, naming former Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, as chairman.

The party said the adjustment was made in line with what it described as “zoning exigencies.”

In a statement issued from its National Secretariat, Buhari House, the APC disclosed that the decision followed further consultations with the party’s leadership and national stakeholders.

“In further consultation with the leadership and national stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Central Coordination Committee for the 2026 National Convention has been reconstituted as listed below,” the statement read.

According to the party, Masari, a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, will head the reconstituted committee.

Former Senate President, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, was appointed Vice Chairman I, while Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, was named Vice Chairman II.

The statement also announced that Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, will serve as Treasurer of the committee, while Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, was appointed Secretary.

The APC added that sub-committees of the Central Coordination Committee would be constituted and announced at a later date.
