We Remain Loyal to Tinubu – Kano APC Declares

The Kano State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has debunked a report claiming it has withdrawn support for President Bola Tinubu’s second-term ambition, describing the report as false and misleading.

In a statement issued on Saturday by the party’s State Publicity Secretary, Auwalu Abdullahi, the APC said the claim attributed to a group known as the Arewa APC Forum was a calculated attempt to tarnish the party’s image.

The party stressed that no recognised or constitutionally backed organ within the APC had taken such a decision, adding that its Kano chapter remains fully committed to supporting President Tinubu and his administration.

“The APC in Kano is aware of attempts by certain individuals and faceless groups to create confusion and disunity within the party,” the statement read.

“We wish to state categorically that this so-called forum is not known to the party structure and does not represent the views of APC members in Kano State.”

The party further reaffirmed its confidence in Tinubu’s leadership, saying his administration remains focused on delivering good governance, economic reforms, and national development.

It urged members of the party and the general public to disregard the report in its entirety, describing it as the handiwork of mischief-makers seeking to cause unnecessary tension.

“The so-called signatory of the purported withdrawal is faceless and not a stakeholder of the party at any level in Kano,” the statement added.

The APC reiterated its unity and continued support for President Tinubu’s vision for a better Nigeria.
