President Bola Tinubu has returned to Lagos after concluding official visits to France, Kenya and Rwanda.
The presidential aircraft conveying the President landed at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, at about 7:12 p.m. on Friday.
Tinubu was received on arrival by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Deputy Governor, Femi Hamzat; Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, alongside other government officials.
During his visit to France, the President met with global investors, where he reiterated his administration’s commitment to transparency, fiscal discipline and ongoing economic reforms aimed at attracting investments into Nigeria.
In Nairobi, Kenya, Tinubu participated in the Africa Forward Summit co-hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron and Kenyan President William Ruto.
At the summit, the President advocated reforms in the global financial system and called for stronger economic integration among African countries.
He also highlighted Nigeria’s blue economy potential and pledged to share the country’s maritime intelligence infrastructure with willing Gulf of Guinea nations.
While in Kenya, Tinubu held a bilateral meeting with Madagascar’s President, Michael Randrianirina.
In Kigali, Rwanda, the President attended the Africa CEO Forum alongside African leaders, investors and business executives, where discussions focused on accelerating economic transformation across Africa through regional integration and cross-border investments.
