2027 Poll: Barau Has No Challenger in Kano North – APC Chieftain

The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, will record an easy victory in the 2027 general election in Kano North Senatorial District, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Faizu Alfindiki, has declared.

Alfindiki made the assertion on Monday while hosting a luncheon for social media influencers in Kano, expressing confidence that Barau had already secured the support of key political stakeholders across the senatorial district.

According to him, the Deputy President of the Senate’s performance in office and quality representation have earned him widespread acceptance among party leaders and the electorate.

“2027 is a walkover for the Deputy President of the Senate in Kano North. Senator Barau I. Jibrin will go into the election with full confidence because he already has the endorsement of critical stakeholders from the district,” Alfindiki said.

The former Chairman of Kano Municipal Council added that Barau’s achievements had become his strongest campaign asset.

“His achievements speak for him. We have every reason to celebrate because our amiable Deputy President of the Senate enjoys the support and endorsement of all. We are confident of a landslide victory,” he stated.

Alfindiki also urged social media influencers to remain committed to projecting what he described as the achievements of the Deputy President of the Senate, noting that effective communication of his activities would further strengthen the APC’s support base ahead of the 2027 general election.

He expressed optimism that the APC would retain Kano North, maintaining that the level of political goodwill currently enjoyed by Senator Barau had placed him in a strong position as preparations for the 2027 general election gathered momentum.
